# How are purchases attributed to a Virtual Assistant?

> How ArbitrageOne accounts for purchases, ratings and exclusions in VA Analysis and Purchase Analysis.

## Attribution basics

ArbitrageOne generally credits a Virtual Assistant with all purchases recorded through their main sheet.

Products are included in VA Analysis based on the purchase date. Canceled or deleted orders are not considered.

## Credit a product that was not purchased

If a product was not purchased but should still be credited to the VA, enter a quantity in the **Rating** column.

This quantity is only used when no actual purchase of the same product has been recorded. In that case, the product appears in VA Analysis on the date it was added to the Sourcing Sheet.

## Exclude a purchase from VA attribution

If an actual purchase should not be credited to the VA, exclude the product from VA Analysis through the **Origin** column in the **Purchases** tab.

If a quantity is also available in the **Rating** column, ArbitrageOne uses that quantity instead.

## VA Analysis and Purchase Analysis

These attribution rules and exclusions only affect **VA Analysis**.

**Purchase Analysis** continues to list every actual purchase, regardless of whether it was credited to the VA or excluded from their VA Analysis.

## Give the VA access to the analysis

Enable the **VA Analysis** permission in the VA settings so the VA can access their analysis. The VA will then also see their purchase volume on the dashboard.

The sheet permission **View Analysis** refers to Purchase Analysis. It only covers products that were actually purchased.
